Current Northern Ireland Covid-19 Restrictions to be updated by the Northern Ireland Executive on Tuesday 5th January 2021

The current Covid 19 restrictions as implemented on December 26th 2020 are being discussed by the Executive on the afternoon of Tuesday 5th January 2021 in light of the announcement made by the Prime Minister on Monday 4th January regarding England’s new national lockdown. The current restrictions which will be updated today are:

Following an increase in coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, additional restrictions were introduced for people in Northern Ireland on 26 December 2020. These new restrictions are in place to help reduce the spread of coronavirus and to help manage the pressures on our health and social care system. During this time, the single most important action we can all take is to stay at home.
